The story…
Generational Wealth Wines was founded on my desire to uncover a path for aspiring minority female winemakers like myself. My passion for wine and the gratification I get from educating others about this industry led me to produce a brand that is representative of myself, a black woman from South Central Los Angeles, that can be shared with the world. This project has enabled me to make my dreams become a reality while building a legacy that will create generational wealth for my family.
The process…
Our wines are made in Lodi, CA a little known city with a prominent wine presence just hours away from Los Angeles. The culture in Lodi is rich and lively (in its own way) with a feeling of home much like LA. Winemakers in this region stretch into 5th generation making it the perfect match for our brands longevity and the legacy we are trying to create.
The grapes in our wines are grown in vineyards with a peat and sand soil composition. The attributes of peat soil, including its ability to hold moisture creating wetter conditions in the territory it expands in, in combination with fermentation and aging in stainless steel yields wines with a crisp clean finish, and great balance of fruit flavor.
